Lamborghini Expands Their Model Lineup

FindItMore | This year Lamborghini introduced a brand new model to their vehicle lineup. This all-new Lambo is powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that roars from 0 to 60 miles per hour in around 3 seconds. While Lamborghini is known for its eccentric high horse-powered supercars this new model, while being high horse-powered, is anything but your typical race car. When you imagine a Lambo you’re probably thinking of a low to the ground, two-door, race car with lavish Italian styling.

The new edition to the Lambo lineup keeps the lavish Italian styling, aggressive exterior look, and high performance of its counterparts. What this model doesn’t share with it’s fellow Lambo’s is the fact it has four-doors, can seat four or five passengers and sits high off the ground. Figure it out yet? The all-new Lamborghini is a sport utility vehicle known as the Urus.

As Warren Henry Auto reminds us, this isn’t just your regular old family hauler though, in traditional Lamborghini style this SUV oozes high performance, impressive handling, and extraordinary styling that can only be accomplished by Lamborghini. The extraordinary acceleration of the Urus is thanks in part to the 641 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque that is provided by the twin-turbo V8 engine. All of that power also helps the Urus reach a top speed of 190 mph, so while you may not think of an SUV as a racecar you can still take this model down to the tracks and seriously upset the competition.

The engine then comes paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and four-wheel-drive so you can make it through any road conditions. The Urus rides on 21-inch wheels, 285/45 ZR21 front tires, 315/40 ZR21 rear tires, and an adjustable air suspension system. All that power means the Urus needs a pretty impressive braking system and Lamborghini does not disappoint. Carbon-ceramic brakes bring the Urus to a dead stop from 62 mph in 33.7m.

The aggressive exterior of the Urus hints at the profound capability of the sport utility vehicle. The Urus features a fierce hexagon grille, a single silhouette line, a front bonnet with center peak, cross lines on the rear doors that make it instantly recognizable as a Lamborghini. While being an SUV the Urus is the lowest SUV in its class which makes for better aerodynamics. When Lamborghini designers were creating the Urus they took inspiration from the LM002 for the significant diagonal lines and position of the engine and the Marcello Gandini for the smooth lines of the frameless doors.

As soon as you sit inside of the Lamborghini Urus you will be transported into a world of luxury simply oozes with Italian design and craftsmanship. Sitting in the center of the “Y” theme inspired dashboard are three driver-oriented TFT screens one is for instruments, one for comfort features, and one for infotainment. The interior of the Urus can be customized with different materials and colors including natural materials, wood finish, Alcantara, aluminum, carbon, and more!

All-in-all the 2019 Urus is one truly captivating sport utility vehicle, not that we would except anything less from Lamborghini.
